The Friends regularly hosts events for visitors to the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo.

Celebrate Women’s History Month at the JMZ! Please join the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo and the Friends of the Palo Alto Library for a special preschool story time in Classroom 2 to celebrate influential women in history. Guests will be invited to participate in posting notes about women who inspire them in the JMZ’s exhibit hall.

The Picturing Women Inventors traveling exhibition, organized by the Smithsonian, will be on display in the JMZ’s exhibit hall through March. 

Picturing Women Inventors is organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service in collaboration with the Lemelson Center for the Study of Invention and Innovation, and was developed in collaboration with the United States Patent and Trademark Office and made possible with the support of the Lyda Hill Philanthropies IF/THEN Initiative and Ericsson.
