2026 Spring Breakfast Fundraiser

On March 27th, we hosted our third annual Spring Breakfast at the Allied Arts Guild in Menlo Park welcoming new and longstanding supporters of the Friends. This year’s event raised more than $60,000—funding engaging, hands-on science lessons for over 3,000 elementary school students.

We’d like to extend a special thanks to our panelists, Amina Burrell, CeeCee Schnugg, and Jeff Downing, for their lively discussion highlighting the importance of investing in early STEM experiences. We are also grateful to our generous event sponsors, including Brian Krippendorf, who provided photography to capture the spirit of the morning, Anu Roy, who designed the beautiful centerpieces featuring greenery from the JMZ’s California Dinosaur Garden, and all of the Friends Board members and ambassadors, whose contributions made our event both meaningful and memorable.

It is because of this dedicated community that we are able to expand access to hands-on science learning, ensuring that children of all backgrounds can explore, discover, and develop a lifelong curiosity for science and the natural world.
