Support the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo’s 80-year legacy of inspiring a passion for science, appreciation for nature, and love of exploration for children of all ages. Through the help of supporters like you, the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo has sponsored:

  • The JMZ Initiative capital campaign, led by the Friends of the Palo Alto Junior Museum & Zoo and the City of Palo Alto, which ensures a renewed facility that will keep this intimate, child-sized experience viable for future generations.
  • An expanded Science Outreach program in East Palo Alto that serves over 1,200 students in under-resourced schools each year.
  • An updated classroom that includes a science lab for onsite classes as well as additional space for teacher preparation.
  • New exhibits, including Weaver Bird House and Tortoise Hill, that provide natural, comfortable habitats for the animals in our care.
